In this last episode in the first series of The Slow Exposure Podcast, I sat down with the Berlin-based stylist Olive Duran. We speak about issues of racial inequality that exist both within the German fashion industry and the wider world. Olive opens up regarding her experiences as a POC working in the creative industry and as friends, we discuss how we can all work to make the fashion industry a more diverse place in the future. Please be mindful of the delicate nature of this conversation, and in the wake of the events of 2020 how to go forward with understanding and knowledge.
This conversation illustrates that sustainability within the fashion industry is urgent both from an environmental and ethical perspective.
This was the final episode in the first season of the Slow Exposure Podcast. If you haven’t already, please go back and check out my other episodes with 5 other guests. If you have listened to every single episode so far, your support is everything.
There will be a season 2 landing very soon, if you have any topics regarding sustainability you would like me to discuss with future guests you can email me at elizacamillaedwards@gmail.com or via Slow Exposure on Instagram.
